Town Meetings

Arts Plan NJ will present three regional Town Meetings to offer the public an opportunity to respond to the draft of the reshaped Arts Plan NJ. All persons interested in speaking must call or email the NJ State Council on the Arts to reserve a five-minute speaking time. Call 609-292-4474 or email to reserve a time. Time slots will be filled on a first-reserved basis. Those wishing to audit the meeting are encouraged to attend.

Northern Area Town Meeting: October 18, 2005, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
at the Bickford Theatre, 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown
Co-hosted by Arts Council of the Morris Area

Central Area Town Meeting: October 17, 2005, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
at the Two River Theatre, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank
Co-hosted by the Monmouth Arts Council

Southern Area Town Meeting: October 25, 2005, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
at the Collingswood Senior Community Center, 30 Collings Avenue, Collingswood
Co-hosted by the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission and Perkins Center for the Arts

All locations are accessible. It is suggested that persons who require special assistance or accommodation call the New Jersey State Council on the Arts' offices at 609-984-7023 at least two weeks in advance of the meeting to inform staff of their needs.
